This summer, the French Riviera comes to Canary Wharf as Bōkan transforms its rooftop terrace into a sun-drenched Côte d’Azur escape in partnership with Citadelle Gin, the original French craft gin.

Set high above the city with panoramic views stretching from the Gherkin to Greenwich, expect azure and white styling, pillars draped with lemons and lavender, and a terrace made for long lunches, golden hour cocktails and late summer evenings.

Alongside Citadelle gin creations such as the Silky Attitude with zesty lemon, mango and creamy coconut and the Negroni Blanc with Lillet for a lighter take on the old favourite; Bar Manager Alex Muller has created a cocktail list inspired by the sprawling city below.

Standouts include the Golden Reel, a salted caramel twist on a daiquiri with popcorn-infused Altamura vodka, bright lime and a smooth indulgent finish, while Roasted Horizon brings sunshine in a glass with Adriatico amaretto, pineapple, yuzu and rhubarb, finished with Planteray OFTD rum for extra warmth. For low and no ABV options, Vanilla Cloud blends coconut, lime and vanilla with Everleaf and a smooth mango foam.

To match, finger-friendly bar food and sharing plates include slow-cooked beef tacos, BBQ chicken wings, and British cheese and charcuterie boards, alongside larger dishes such as the Wagyu Bōkan burger, basil pesto lasagna and chicken Caesar salad.
