Covent Garden will once again transform into London’s ultimate open air Wimbledon Championships viewing destination this summer. Bringing the buzz of Centre Court to the West End, Champagne Lanson becomes the new official partner of the neighbourhood’s Piazza screenings for 2026.
Marking the first new drinks partner of Covent Garden’s iconic Wimbledon screenings in over 5 years, the partnership unites one of London’s most celebrated destinations with the Official Champagne Supplier of The Championships, Wimbledon, for the very first time.
Creating a courtside club in Covent Garden for London’s tennis lovers and curious sports spectators, from 29th June to 12th July, live coverage of Wimbledon will be broadcast daily from the bustling East Piazza. Visitors will be invited to sit back in Champagne Lanson-branded deckchairs, sip champagne and watch every serve, rally, and match live from the big screen.
Set against the backdrop of the historic Market Building, the free-to-attend screenings will run daily from 11am- 10pm, alongside a dedicated Champagne Lanson pop-up bar operated by Covent Garden’s Courtyard Wine Cellars. Throughout the two-week residency, visitors will be able to enjoy Champagne Lanson Père et Fils Brut and Le Rosé Création by the glass and bottle, alongside a curated seasonal food pairing menu.
Founded in 1760, Champagne Lanson celebrates 49 years of partnership with Wimbledon in 2026 and has been the Official Supplier of Champagne to The Championships since 2001. This summer also marks the first time the House has activated on the Covent Garden Piazza during the tournament.
The partnership forms part of Now Playing in Covent Garden, a season-long programme running from 20th June to mid-July, which sees the Piazza transform into the ultimate summer playground with a packed schedule of unmissable experiences from day to night.
