Enjoy a piste of winter at Canary Wharf with latest lodge-style pop-up

Canary Wharf invites revellers, relaxers, and city dwellers alike to experience the après-ski themed wonder of Off Piste at Canada Square Park this winter. As the icy wind creeps in, visitors are transported from the iconic surroundings of Canary Wharf to the captivating alpine setting of the Estate’s new lodge style bar.

Those looking for cosy gatherings with friends and family, or a more private setting for the evening, have the option of five individually designed cabins located in Canada Square Park. Each cabin has been designed by The Office Group (TOG) and combines luxury decor with winter themes, and has seating settings suitable for parties of two, four or six, as well as larger arrangements for bigger groups of 16-20. Advance bookings are taken and each chalet can be hired exclusively.

Trying to ward off the winter chills can be hungry work, but Off Piste has guests covered with mouth-watering sourdough pizzas from Radio Alice. Since bringing their bellissimo bases from Bologna in 2016, Radio Alice have since been serving arguably the best slice in London. Meanwhile, Pravha will be serving crisp pilsners to thirsty guests and there’s also a menu of cocktails that features the bespoke winter warmer – ‘The Snow Stopper’.

More likely found in the slopes of Canada than Canada Square Park, Off Piste offers an escape from the cold like no other. Leave thermals at the door as the enclosed and heated bar ensures shivering guests will be warmed through in no time. Those in need of a breather can do so without fear of the frost as outdoor terraces are fitted with heaters, accompanied by ski memorabilia and shimmering festive lights.

Those pining for the alps can immerse themselves in mesmerising footage of the Northern Lights and Rocky Mountains, both shown on an impressive interactive screen. But if that’s not enough, visitors can also enjoy free 80’s themed music nights and free DJ events every Thursday and Friday evening.

Tables can be booked in advance, and private hire for larger groups and exclusive hire are available upon request. Off-Piste will be at Canada Square Park, Canary Wharf, for a limited time until the end of February.
