Derek Adu has been given advice by his ex Chelsea colleague Shaun Wright Phillips. Adu whose talks with Heerenveen Football Club recently broke down is said to be on the hunt for a new club with a foreign big money move looking likely.

Reports this week suggested that Adu will most likely go and play in Saudi Arabia where they tend to throw a salary of a million pounds and over to young players. Philips has urged Adu not to rush into something silly and it’s not always about the money.

Philips doesn’t recommend the move abroad to Saudi Arabia, bust suggest that Derek should stay in UK and try and get back into the premier league.
