As thousands of Londoners headed towards Hyde Park dressed in bald caps and sharp suits to celebrate one of the summer’s biggest live music moments, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky took things one step further – rewarding one fan with the ultimate prize after they shaved their head in tribute to the iconic Pitbull look.
Transforming a barbershop just moments from Hyde Park into the Fireball Bald Spot, Fireball challenged bold gig-goers to ditch the bald cap, brave the shave and take a spin on Fireball’s Winning Wheel.
Of the Six fans who took part and went completely bald, one won an unforgettable trip for two to Miami, including a five-night stay at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, VIP airport transfers, an exclusive South Beach nightclub experience and spending money to enjoy the 305 in true Fireball style.
Other Bald-Es walked away with plenty of Fireball prizes, from ice-cold shots and cash rewards to, most importantly, a fresh shave, serious bragging rights, and a story that’s guaranteed to get better every time it’s told.
With Hyde Park awash with bald caps, Fireball gave fans that chance to swap fancy dress for the real thing. It was a celebration of one of pop culture’s most recognisable looks, fuelled by big laughs, unforgettable decisions and the kind of energy that turns a bald cap into a plane ticket to Miami.
Lorenzo Farronato, spokesperson for Fireball, said: “You don’t often get the chance to reward someone for shaving their head. When we saw thousands of fans embracing the iconic look, we thought we’d create an experience for the few willing to make it permanent – at least for a while. That’s how one shaved head turned into a trip to Miami.”
Alaeddin Alayyan, winner of the Miami trip, said: “The moment they said I’d won I completely forgot I was bald. It’s probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever done, but that’s exactly why I did it. Hair grows back. But a trip to Miami? That’s a story that’ll last forever.”
