As International Dog Day (26th August) approaches, eco-friendly boat company GoBoat is bringing all the treats, offering a FREE water taxi service for passengers and their furry friends at its London Paddington and Birmingham Brindleyplace locations.

Complete with its very own chauffeur, the water taxi service will operate from 22nd – 26th August between 12pm-2pm. There’s no need to book, simply keep an eye out for the GoBoat either outside Paddington Station (Hammersmith & City exit) or The Water’s Edge at Brindleyplace in Birmingham. The taxi service in Paddington will take you and your pooch up to Merchant Square, while the Birmingham shuttle will take you to the Roundhouse.

The water taxi service will operate in both directions, so any tired doggos can relax after a leisurely walk along the towpath.

Taking the doggy celebrations further, GoBoat is offering anyone who turns up with their pooch on International Dog Day (26th August) a free 1-hour boat trip across all its UK locations.

One free boat will be available every hour from 9:30am until 7:30pm on Friday 26th August at GoBoat’s Paddington, Canary Wharf, Kingston-upon-Thames and Birmingham Brindleyplace docks. Simply turn up with your furry friend(s) in tow to enjoy!

Free 1-hour boat trips on Friday 26th August
• Turn up on the day to charter a free one-hour boat by arriving to the GoBoat kiosk with a dog or dogs as passengers
• One boat is available every hour on the half hour from 9:30am until closing at GoBoat Paddington, Kingston, Canary Wharf and Birmingham Brindleyplace (9:30am– 7:30pm) on Friday 26th August. As always, on GoBoat you’re the captain and full training will be given upon arrival
• Groups of up to eight people can charter a GoBoat together
• Smaller groups may need to share with other customers (and their dogs!)

Free dog water taxi service Monday 22nd August – Friday 26th August
• A free water taxi service for dogs will operate at GoBoat Paddington and Birmingham Brindleyplace only
• To board, you will need to have one dog with your group
• The service will operate Monday 22nd – Friday 26th August 12pm-2pm each day
