FREE Live Jazz and Blues at Old Spitalfields Market celebrates 30 years of The Spitz

On Friday 24th July, Old Spitalfields Market will host “Live Jazz and Blues with The Spitz”, a free evening of music celebrating 30 years since legendary East London music venue and cultural hub The Spitz first opened its doors in 1996.

Part of the Spital Beats summer series, the event welcomes original Spitz favourites Marcus Bonfanti, Miles Danso and Pete Wareham back to the site of the iconic venue for an evening of jazz and blues. Today, The Spitz continues its legacy as a music charity, bringing live performances to hospitals, care homes and community spaces across London.

The celebrations don’t stop there, The Spitz returns to Old Spitalfields Market for two further dates this summer, Friday 28th August and Friday 25th September, as the 30th anniversary continues.
