Free mindful ceramic sessions at The Veggery, a flourishing new green retreat at the Barbican

Londoners have one last chance to experience the London Festival of Architecture with The Veggery, a new FREE community garden at the Barbican, part of the Culture Mile BID’s Seeds in the City initiative.

Selected from more than 50 submissions, The Veggery transforms the space outside St Giles Cripplegate Church into a greenhouse-inspired garden and gathering space.

This summer, The Veggery is hosting FREE ceramic workshops with architectural ceramicist Charlotte Moore, inviting participants to sculpt botanical forms inspired by the installation’s unique environment.

Workshop dates:

Wednesday 15 July
Saturday 1 August
Session times:

11.00am–12.30pm
12.45pm–2.15pm
2.30pm–4.00pm
Location: Outside St Giles Cripplegate Church, Barbican, EC2Y 8DA

The workshops form part of The Veggery’s wider programme of talks and activities celebrating food growing, sustainability and wellbeing and continue the Culture Mile’s ‘Move the Mile’ summer programme, encouraging people to explore hidden corners of the City.
