GLAZIERS HALL APPOINTS GENERAL MANAGER TO SUPPORT STRATEGIC DIRECTION

William Simmonds, former director at Bovingdons Catering and Operations Director at Champneys, has been appointed as General Manager for Glaziers Hall, the Livery building located on the South Bank alongside London Bridge.

Bringing years of experience to the role, William will take responsibility for the strategic growth and development of the business, while also nurturing the team and ensuring that clients have the best possible experience at the venue.

When asked about his appointment, William said: “With previous experience of Livery Halls, I was enthralled by the history and sense of occasion that comes with this type of venue compared to others. Having the chance to become General Manager was an opportunity I could not resist.

“The focus for me will be on ensuring that the business thrives over the coming years, tapping into our rich history within the Livery community whilst also making us a go to destination for corporate businesses looking for somewhere a little different.”

Glaziers Hall is a venue that is steeped in history, providing an incredible backdrop for corporate events, while also giving clients access to the finest technology including a 1gig WIFI and AV capabilities.

The Livery building has seven unique spaces for hire, with capacity for up to 450 guests. The building can be hired exclusively, or clients can choose one of the seven event spaces to meet with their specific requirements.
