GUAC ‘N’ ROLL: SOUND CAFE UNVEILS FOUR MUSIC-THEMED VEGAN BURGERS FOR NATIONAL BURGER DAY

SOUND Cafe, the iconic live entertainment venue at Marble Arch, is giving its guests the VIP treatment, just in time for National Burger Day (24th August), with the launch of not one, but four brand-new vegan burgers. To celebrate the launch of the aptly named The Pretender, Guac ‘n’ Roll, The Blackeyed Chickpeas and Bananadrama, the first 200 people to visit the SOUND Cafe on the 24th of August will be treated to a free burger of their choice.

All burgers are served in a toasted Brioche style vegan bun with skin on fries and chipotle vegan mayo, with gluten free options available on request. Inspired by the venue’s rich musical history, SOUND’s latest innovations are:

The Pretender – Chargrilled 100% plant-based Moving Mountains® patty topped with melted vegan cheese, Portobello mushrooms, onion rings, lettuce, mustard, and tomato ketchup.
Guac ‘n’ Roll – Pulled BBQ jackfruit, black beans, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and spicy jalapeños.
The Blackeyed Chickpeas – Crispy fried chickpea & spinach patty, red pepper hummus, pickled red onions, and roquette.
Bananadrama – Crispy fried banana blossom in batter, chunky tartar sauce, crispy kale seaweed, coleslaw.

The free burgers will be available from 11am on a first come, first served basis, and guests will need to quote “National Burger Day” to redeem their choice of vegan burger. The Pretender, Guac ‘n’ Roll, The Blackeyed Chickpeas and Bananadrama will then be joining SOUND Cafe’s permanent menu for £17.50 each.

Housed in The Cumberland Hotel which was frequented by musicians including Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Madonna throughout its history, SOUND is a three-in-one restaurant, bar and sports bar famed for its bottomless brunch, afternoon tea and daily live entertainment and music.
