House of Vans London presents: Quasar, an interactive digital light installation
Continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible with art exhibitions while its doors are closed to the public, House of Vans next virtual gallery show puts the audience at the centre of a cosmic light installation from the tunnels under Waterloo Station.
The installation’s design aesthetic is inspired by a Quasar, one of the brightest objects in the universe that is powered by a huge black hole. Broadcast in realtime on www.houseofvanslondon.com, visitors will interact with other gallery goers to play a cat-and-mouse style game testing coordination skills to match rings and colours.
House of Vans worked together with L.E.G to bring Quasar to life. A London-based multi-disciplinary collective, they create immersive experiences through light, sound and structural design.
Quasar will be live 24 hours a day from November 23 – December 22 and will be reactivated in the new year. The interactive game will be available to play via desktop only and House of Vans will host a live stream on YouTube for those who prefer to watch!
