‘Human flesh, intestines and vomit soup’ to be served at Dreamland’s Café Terror

Foodies and fun-lovers with a taste for the macabre are invited to gorge on the guts of a screaming patient and sip soup from IV feeds at Screamland Margate.

This October, Dreamland will unveil Café Terror during its famous Screamland scarefest – a special theatrical dining experience where guests will see and taste incredible concoctions that look like hell and taste like heaven.

The four-night event has been created by Margate’s Miss Cakehead and chef Jim Thomlinson, the team behind delicious horrors such as Human Flesh Burgers, Eat Your Heart Out, and the world’s first Edible Horror Farm.

‘Lucky’ guests will enjoy delicious and disturbing dishes in a unique horror theatre experience, from which they can expect to leave full – and unsettled – by dishes such as vomit aperitif, intravenous soup, and human flesh-flavoured sausages. Served in a bloody surgical setting by staff in full surgical gowns, this is an event guaranteed to unsettle even the most brave-hearted soul as they remove their food from the belly of a screaming human patient.

Café Terror will take over Dreamland’s Café Barletta for four evenings during Screamland, when the amusement park morphs into a haunted, horror-filled playground on selected nights in October (full details in Notes).

Tickets are now on sale for Friday 18th October, Saturday 19th October, Friday 25th October and Saturday 26th October. Spaces are limited on each night so early booking is essential.

Don’t miss this macabre but delicious twist on dining, brought to Margate for the first time.

Café Terror tickets cost £25 per person plus booking fee and include food and one drink. Booking is essential. www.dreamland.co.uk/events

Tickets do not include access to Screamland, and tickets to the scarefest must be purchased separately.
