A man who was nearly killed in an anti-Semetic attack in London has said he thinks it is just a matter of time before the UK experiences another terror attack aimed at Jews.
Recalling his experience, music producer Brian Harris said on GB News: “I was going to say that this isn’t about me. I’m just one of many thousands of incidents, and today’s proves the point.
“In a North London district, there was a young guy walking on the streets screaming very loudly, ‘Heil Hitler, death to all Jews, Jews are vermin’, expletives that I can’t even begin to tell you. And you know, I’m not going to hide behind a door, a locked door. I went out and said, stop it. Disappear.
“He continued down the road even louder, spewing this vile hatred. And I had to say to him, the only option I had, if you continue, I’ll call the police. So I called the police. Called 999, I stayed about three, two meters behind him, knowing you never know what it’s got in his pocket.
“And my mind wandered when I was speaking to the police, and then he threw himself at me and threw me in front of a speeding car.”
He added: “I was very lucky. The driver was a very, very young driver who reacted extremely quickly, so rather than a head on collision, I was hit by the corner of the car. But it’s not about me, really. You know, I’ve just been given this opportunity to speak to you, but you know, there is a massive, wider issue…
“My view is we look at the grainy footage of Germany between 1933 and 1937 and we don’t correlate the fact that I think Britain is in exactly the same situation now.”
Asked if a similar attack on Jews in the UK could happen soon, he said: “I wouldn’t say it might happen, it will happen.
“Remember what the IRA said in the 70s or 80s, when they were talking about bombing Britain, what they said was, you have to be lucky every single time, but we have to be lucky only once. And MI5, or MI6, I can’t remember which one, it was said that they had stopped 20 murderous attempts against Jews in Britain in the last 12 months.
“It will happen unless these Western governments realise what is happening. And I want to go back to an earlier point, October the seventh, was not an unjust, horrific terrorist attack, it was a very, very well orchestrated marketing campaign, because they knew how every single any Western democracy would react to such horror, and they turned the reaction to infiltrate the minds of the disaffected, the easily led and the ill-informed, to turn hatred against the Jews worldwide.”
