As the UK bids farewell to the coldest month of the year, a little warmth is on its way – served steaming hot.
Islands Chocolate is giving away over 10,000 cups of their premium, ethical drinking chocolate in celebration of National Hot Chocolate Day on 31st January.
Their barista-quality drinking chocolate range is made from single-origin Caribbean cocoa and produced with uncompromising attention to flavour, craft and ethics. This isn’t just any drinking chocolate – it’s chocolate that tastes good and does good.
Bringing a Taste of the Caribbean to Battersea Power Station
Designed to offer a taste of the Caribbean in the depths of winter, Islands Chocolate is ending the coldest month the warmest way, with a pop-up and giveaway at Battersea Power Station.
They will be handing out over 1,000 complimentary hot chocolates, crafted with the finest natural Caribbean cocoa, homegrown British sugar, and sprinkling of sea salt.
Set against the iconic backdrop of Battersea Power Station, the pop-up, outside Battersea Power Station Underground Station, will transform the space into a sun-soaked Caribbean beach scene offering an escape from winter greys.
Free Hot Chocolate for All
The celebrations don’t stop there. To spread the warmth beyond Battersea, a selection of much-loved bakeries and cafés will also serve free Islands Chocolate hot chocolate on the 31st January.
Participating partners include Crosstown Doughnuts, Caravan, Mission Coffee Works, & North Star Coffee and more. Keep an eye on Islands Chocolate’s Instagram for the full list of participants.
Each location will offer 100 complimentary cups, available first come, first served, made with Islands Chocolate signature 45% Hot Chocolate Powder.
Whether paired with a glazed doughnut or enjoyed as a moment of indulgence, each cup offers the same rich, smooth flavour – designed to bring Islands Chocolate’s iconic warmth to the heart of winter.
