January Blues? Not in London: Over Half of Londoners Are Happy to Go Back to Work
January is collectively known as a depressing month with everyone back in the office after the festive season. However, Londoners feel actually happy to be back to their desks!
A recent study by specialist insurance Hiscox have researched how Britons feel about going back to the office after the festive season, highlighting what influence employees’ happiness at work.
Some of the highlights from the study include:
- Not Everything is About Money – 60% of Londoners are not interested in a pay rise in 2019 and over half of Londoners are excited to go back to the office.
- Commute isn’t A Killer – Even though Londoners have the tenth worst commute in the world, only 1 in 5 are dreading by it.
- Friends Are Everything, Including at Work – Full time employees spend an average of 37.3h a week at work and having friends in the work environment is a priority for Londoners.
