KERB announces KERB Goes East for one weekend only

KERB, the street food pioneers, are returning to the large-scale outdoor events that first put them on London’s food map with the launch of KERB Goes East at Round The Dock, Canada Water’s new summer events programme. A brand-new weekend festival taking place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August 2026, celebrating the capital’s thriving East and Southeast Asian street food scene.

KERB Goes East will bring together some of London’s best East and Southeast Asian street food traders. Guests can also discover Urban Garden Fair, who will be showcasing East Asian craft and culture, through their market supporting small independent businesses, alongside the bar within Corner Corner, for two days of exceptional food, music and community by the water.

Expect a next-level collection of 50+ traders across food and retail serving their best dishes across the weekend. The line-up includes Oishi Don, bringing the soul of Japanese comfort food, Old Chang Kee, showcasing Singapore’s famous curry puff, Borobudu transporting the taste of Indonesia to London, Komex, fusing the flavours of Korea and Mexico, You Bao dishing out the fluffiest bao buns and hand crafted Himalayan Dumplings from Mandala.

Guests can also expect pandan-packed treats from Lil’Wong Bakes and Asian bakery with a modern twist, Can Toast, with more traders still set to be announced.

Forming part of Round The Dock, Canada Water’s six-week programme of food, live music and waterside experiences, the weekend marks a significant moment for KERB as it returns to the independently curated destination events that first launched the business at King’s Cross in 2012.

Simon Mitchell, Founder and CEO of KERB, said: “KERB started life as an outdoor market, creating spaces where London’s best independent food businesses could thrive and people could discover incredible food together. Fourteen years later, we’ve grown in ways we could never have imagined, but that original spirit has never left us. KERB Goes East at Canada Water feels like coming home. It’s everything we love about street food with independent traders and bringing people together over a shared love of food, while celebrating one of the most exciting and fast-evolving food cultures in London today.”

East and Southeast Asian food has become one of the most exciting forces shaping London’s food culture. KERB Goes East gives this movement its own dedicated stage, bringing together an independently curated line-up that celebrates the breadth, creativity and energy of the city’s best street food operators.

Over the past fourteen years, KERB has grown from a single outdoor market into one of the UK’s leading independent food businesses, spanning food halls, corporate catering, social enterprise initiatives and international expansion. KERB Goes East marks a return to the large-scale outdoor events which first established the brand. While KERB continues to

champion independent food businesses through its weekly markets across London, this themed weekender brings that same community-first ethos to a destination event, celebrating the best of London’s diverse street food scene, bringing people together over a shared love of food.
