LadBaby set for 5th Christmas Number One

With the run-up to Christmas officially underway, the race for Christmas Number 1 is back on with Youtuber Duo LadBaby in with a chance of becoming the first act ever to have five Christmas number ones.

The pair are currently priced at 1-8 on William Hill with this year’s single, a cover of the 1984 hit ‘Do they know it’s Christmas’. They will be joined by finance expert, Martin Lewis, with their rendition of the Band-Aid hit.

The pair have recently announced that many musical icons will be joining them on the single this year but these are still to be revealed.

This year’s effort for Christmas Number 1 is setting out to raise money and help those struggling with the current cost of living crisis in the UK.

There are several other names with a chance with charity singles, such as heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury (25-1) and comedian Jason Manford (20-1).

The duo are also not the only YouTube stars in with a chance as social media stars, The Sidemen, have also thrown their name in the ring at the chance of a Christmas Number one.

Their song ‘Christmas Drillings’ came as part of a recent challenge video on their YouTube channel and features UK grime artist JME.

LadBaby had their first Christmas Number 1 back in 2018 with a parody of the song We Built This City and have been the Christmas Number 1 every year since even having Ed Sheeran and Sir Elton John as features last year.
