Last night, Lanvin — the oldest French couture house still in operation — hosted an intimate dinner in London, bringing together friends of the Maison and leading figures from the worlds of art, fashion, media, and entertainment. Held at Clarke’s, Lanvin Deputy CEO Siddhartha Shukla and Artistic Director Peter Copping welcomed guests in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere at the beloved London institution, with a menu specially conceived by Sally Clarke herself.
Earlier in the day, Copping took part in a special conversation at the Victoria & Albert Museum with the Financial Times’ Jo Ellison. Their exchange explored his career and his vision for translating Lanvin’s storied heritage for today — including an ongoing creative dialogue with the extensive house archive and the V&A’s own collection of Jeanne Lanvin’s creations.
The dinner and talk marked Lanvin’s first London moment since the launch of the Autumn Winter 2025 collection — Copping’s debut for the Maison. The occasion echoed his British roots and underscored Lanvin’s commitment to strengthening its cultural presence in the city.
Among the guests were Bianca Jagger, Josie Rourke, Nathalie Emmanuel, Alvaro Barrington, Honor Swinton Byrne, Charlie Rowe, Emily Fairn, Dame Olivia Peyton-Jones, Kesewa Aboah, Mia Tharia, Róisín Tapponi, Bettina Korek and Jo Ellison.
