Leonardo Hotels Acquires New Hotel in Aldgate

Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland, a leading hotel group operating 60 centrally located properties with more than 11,000 rooms, has announced the acquisition of Hotel Saint in Aldgate, London. The seller is an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management and the hotel has been operated by Highgate Hospitality. Hotel Saint will be rebranded as Leonardo Hotel London Aldgate, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the capital as its eleventh London property.

Ideally positioned on the edge of the City of London’s financial district and within easy reach of Shoreditch and transport hubs, the hotel offers a contemporary and well-connected base for both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel features 272 stylish bedrooms and suites, blending modern design with comfort. Each room includes free Wi-Fi, dedicated workspaces and contemporary amenities, with selected rooms offering expansive city views and extra space for relaxation.

Dining experiences are elevated with The Cardinal Bar & Kitchen, the hotel’s vibrant all-day dining destination, popular with both hotel guests and local residents. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers a relaxed yet stylish setting, with a menu focused on seasonal dishes and deliciously crafted drinks.
