LIDL IN PECKHAM TO REOPEN AFTER MODERNISATION

Lidl GB has confirmed that its supermarket on Bellenden Road in Peckham, will reopen its doors on Thursday 27th October at 8am after undergoing a modernisation.
The store opening times will be between 7am – 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sunday, delivering Lidl’s offering of fresh, quality and great value produce.

As part of the works, the store in Peckham has been completely refurbished to deliver an enhanced in-store experience for customers. The supermarket will also now have a larger sales area to provide even more of the discounter’s affordable produce at a time when household budgets are facing increasing pressure.

Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, Max Clapton, commented: “We would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding whilst we have carried out these improvement works. We first opened our store in Peckham over 21 years ago and we are delighted to be able to open the store once again to deliver an enhanced shopping experience for our existing and future customers.”
The new supermarket forms part of the company’s ongoing £1.3bn investment across the country in 2021 and 2022. Its ongoing success shows no signs of slowing, with Lidl GB now the 6th largest supermarket in the UK.
