The Royal Recipe Book is under new management this autumn as Park Corner Brasserie at London Hilton on Park Lane unveils Once Upon a Villain, a dramatic new chapter of its Disney Princess-inspired Afternoon Tea.
Created by Head Pastry Chef Sam Leatherby, winner of Bake Off: The Professionals, the afternoon tea takes inspiration from Disney’s most infamous Villains, with dramatic patisserie and playful twists on familiar fairy-tale favourites. Savouries include The Carriage Awaits, chicken with pumpkin butter, and From The Bayou, roast beef with mayonnaise and lettuce, while sweets include Enchanting Apple, Between Two Thorns, Deep Sea Swirl and Mystic Top Hat.
Children and grown-ups can also expect black cherry and blueberry scones and chocolate truffles presented in a glass slipper. Available daily from 12.30pm–7pm, Once Upon a Villain is priced at £70 per adult and £45 per child, making it a suitably theatrical option for a half-term treat.
