LycaHealth opens two state of the art Breast Centres in London

LycaHealth has opened The Canary Wharf Breast Centre and The Orpington Breast Centre – two brand new, state of the art breast screening and diagnostic centres for any patient needing routine or symptomatic breast imaging.

Each centre will offer patients routine consultations and breast screening, as well as a complete one stop breast clinic for rapid and accurate breast cancer diagnosis.

The centre, led by LycaHealth’s multidisciplinary team of leading breast care specialists – including surgeons, radiologists, radiographers and breast nurse specialists, provides the following services:
Breast Screening Appointments and Diagnosis
Routine Consultations
Mammography
Breast Ultrasound
Breast Biopsy – Including Fine Needle Biopsy (FNA) and Core Biopsy

The breast care centres have both been expertly designed and equipped with the latest imaging and diagnostic technology, to provide a modern patient centred healthcare experience in a relaxed environment.

The one-stop breast clinic offers patients access to screenings and rapid access to treatment, if necessary, after diagnosis. Everything is handled on-site so there is no need to wait for lengthy referrals and access to treatment and rapid diagnostic times mean results can be processed in as little as 24 hours. The clinic is open five days a week with minimal waiting times at the Canary Wharf & Orpington medical centres.
