London private nursery group Grandir UK, previously branded as Three Little Birds, is welcoming parents of little ones to an open day on 28th January at several of its locations for those looking for childcare places in 2023.

Taking place on the day from 9am to 1pm at its West Finchley, Wandsworth, Winchmore Hill, Muswell Hill and Clerkenwell Mount location, parents will have the chance to meet the nursery team and take a tour of the nursery itself.

A spokesperson at Grandir UK, said: “We’re very much looking forward to greeting parents at our open days on the 28th to showcase what our nurseries has to offer for prospective children.

“Our embedded key person approach allows us to respond sensitively to children’s feelings, behaviours, as well as meeting overall emotional needs. Our skilled practitioners work in partnership with our families to build upon joy, contentment and happiness of all children.

“We encourage children to develop the ability to learn for themselves, giving them the opportunity for exploration, experimentation and decision making.”

Babies starting at Grandir UK from three months old will be introduced to the ‘Explorers Room’ designed for tots up to walking age which features sensory experiences and activities. Babies spend time every day in the Explorers Room to learn and explore at their own pace. Once at walking age, babies will then have use of the under-twos outdoor play area where they go for walks in the local area.

When babies gain mobility, they will then move to the Discoverers Room for under-twos which cultivates a nurturing environment where the children are encouraged to learn for themselves with the support of the nursery team by their side. As the children begin to develop spoken language, Grandir helps introduce new vocabulary by reading books and singing songs in small and large groups. Toddlers will be able to benefit from regular visits from qualified art and music teachers, providing a range of additional subject-specific activities for the under-twos.

At the open day, parents will have the opportunity to meet the nursery team, take a tour of the different rooms and play areas as well as ask any specific questions about how the nursery operates.
