Pegasus Group London celebrates 5th anniversary
One of the UK’s leading independent consultancies has celebrated the five-year anniversary of its London office in the heart of the West End.
Pegasus Group has a team of more than 300 skilled and experienced staff operating from 14 offices across the UK and Ireland, with services spanning the entire project process. They are even looking into a second london office that they hope to move into in 2023. It’s part of their effort to continue to grow their business.
The London office, at 10 Albemarle Street, Mayfair, was founded in September 2014 by Directors Jim Tarzey and Barry Cansfield with a team of just three.
Today, that team numbers 13 and includes planners, heritage consultants, economic analysts and an apprentice. And in August last year Executive Director Jim Tarzey took over the reins as Chairman of Pegasus Group following the retirement of Stephen Bawtree.
Jim said: “Our decision to open and establish a Central London office for Pegasus Group in 2014, to complement our wider office network throughout the UK, has proved a huge success.
“For a national independent consultancy of our size and repute, we were not sufficiently represented in the capital, but that has now changed. We are increasingly growing in stature and presence in the London Property Market, operating from the heart of the West End at our offices in Albemarle Street on the doorstep of a large number of our key clients, but also directly accessible to those clients based ‘out of town’ but who are regularly in Central London.
“The office continues to grow under the leadership of myself and my Co-Director, Barry Cansfield, and we are able to offer Town Planning, Economic and Heritage advice from professional staff based in Central London, complemented by help from our other Pegasus Group offices in relation to Urban Design, Environmental and Transportation.”
Over the last five years, the London office has worked on a wide range of exciting and influential projects, providing a full suite of services and representing a wide and diverse portfolio of clients including:
- house builders
- land promoters
- pension funds
- retailers/shopping centres
- restauranteurs/coffee shops
- student operators
- care developers
Pegasus Group marked the 5th anniversary of the London office on Thursday, September 6 with a lunch for 30 clients and partners at Annabel’s in Berkeley Square hosted by the Chairman and members of the team.
Jim concluded: “The most important part of Pegasus Group, and a continued factor in our success, is our people. We have more than 300 skilled, experienced and committed members of staff who work on some of the UK’s highest profile projects, often going the extra mile to ensure clients receive the best advice and market leading support.
“That ethos runs across the group through all of our offices, where we continue to take the time to understand our client’s objectives and deliver bespoke solutions in order to drive growth and regeneration to benefit not only our clients, but the wider community.”
