For fashion and whisky fans looking to make a statement this summer – just in time for ‘football coming home’ – then the wait is overFollowing the rollout of several co-branded listening bar stores in London, British menswear brand Percival has again joined forces with blended malt Scotch whisky Monkey Shoulder to launch a limited edition ‘Speyside’ football shirt.
At the heart of the design is a richly layered pixel distortion stripe pattern unlike anything traditionally seen on a football shirt. The bold orange, red and black palette draws direct inspiration from the dramatic Speyside landscape of the Scottish Highlands: rugged terrain, dense forests and rolling valleys surrounding the home of Monkey Shoulder’s whisky making heritage.
The result is a shirt that feels both earthy and electric, translating the spirit of Speyside into a contemporary fashion piece designed as much for everyday wear as it is for match day.
Manufactured by Admiral and finished with Percival’s signature attention to detail, the shirt sits at the intersection of football heritage, fashion and culture. A collector’s piece for those who know that style and sport have always gone hand in hand.Chris Gove, Founder and Creative Director of Percival, said: “The shirt is a subversive reinterpretation of the classic football kit. Less match day uniform, more wearable artwork. Where traditional tournament merchandise often plays it safe, Percival and Monkey Shoulder wanted to create something that pushes football inspired style into a more elevated and fashion led space.”
The shirt follows a collaboration between the brands as Percival revealed the recent redesign of its Soho and Covent Garden stores. Each store has seen its retail experience reach new heights with the introduction of dedicated vinyl listening bars complete with curated records and custom configured KEF speakers, to be enjoyed with Monkey Shoulder’s signature serve, an Old Fashioned.
The co-branded space has been designed to encourage customers to slow down, listen and linger, reflecting a more considered alternative to the transactional pace of modern retail.
James Eisen, Brand Manager at Monkey Shoulder, said: “This limited-edition shirt perfectly captures Monkey Shoulder’s irreverent spirit, cultural credibility and connection to Speyside in the Scottish Highlands. It brings together football, fashion and whisky culture in a way that feels fresh, unexpected and genuinely collectible.”
The shirt will be priced at £60 and available to pre order online at Percivalclo.com from 3rd June, with shipping commencing from 15th June. A limited number of shirts will also be available to purchase across Percival’s London stores: Soho, Spitalfields and Covent Garden.
Launch Event: Thursday 18th June 2026
To celebrate the limited-edition jersey, Percival and Monkey Shoulder will host an exclusive launch event at the Marshall Street, Soho store on Thursday 18th June.
