Plant-Based Pioneer Ready Burger Arrives in North London

A new value-driven burger brand that is set to revolutionise the fast-food market with its pioneering plant-based menu, has officially opened the doors of its first venue in North London.

Ready Burger’s first premises on Park Road in London’s Crouch End, presents a 100% plant-based menu. The menu offers a compilation of the world’s most popular burger favourites and classic sides at everyday prices, with zero compromise on flavour, flexibility, speed, service and experience.

The brand is believed to be the first value driven, fully plant-based, quick service restaurant on the UK high street and Ready Burger’s signature ‘The Ready Burger’ (£1.99), is thought to be the only plant-based burger of its kind on the market for under £2 – all day, every day.

The Ready Burger brand has been conceived to offer inclusive, sustainable, plant-based options without having to pay a premium. Menus can be enjoyed by almost everyone from vegans, to vegetarians, flexitarians to meat eaters. The service is warm, welcoming and approachable with a ‘come one, come all’ conviviality.

Sustainability is built into the very core of the Ready Burger concept with a progressive approach that means the brand’s offering doesn’t cost the earth – in more ways than one. A Ready Burger uses 70% less water to make than its beef burger counterpart. It also emits 92% less greenhouse gas emissions than a beef burger and requires 93% less land to produce.

Ready Burger co-founders Max Miller and Adam Clark have over 20 years’ combined expertise in food, hospitality, and property development, with an unwavering focus on customer experience.

Ready Burger, CEO and Co-founder Max Miller explains; “At Ready Burger, we’re on a mission to revolutionise the fast-food industry and people’s perception of plant-based food.

“We opened for a soft launch last month and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response and the positive feedback we’ve had in taste trials and introductions. Our menus are designed to offer food that tastes amazing, which almost anyone can enjoy, but doesn’t cost the earth – in more ways than one! You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy our menus – this is plant-based food for the masses.”

COO and co-founder Adam Clark – an accomplished and classically trained professional chef – adds; “When we set out to create the Ready Burger menu, our priority was to create a vegan burger that tasted just as good as its conventional counterparts. There are lots of options out there but very often there’s a compromise on taste, texture or price. At Ready Burger, we refuse to compromise on any of those things and we believe we’ve mastered the science behind the taste and texture of plant-based ingredients.”

The Crouch End Ready Burger is now open for collection via a hatch and digital order point kiosk, with a full menu of flavoursome plant-based burgers alongside classic sides, with premium and saver choices, as well as a range of premium value meals. Options range from; The Saver Menu Ready Burger (£1.99), to The Big Ready (£3.59), to The Chicken Challenger (£4.29), to the Saver Menu Double Cheeseburger (£3.39) – all illustrating that plant-based options can taste just as good as their meat counterparts.

Ready Burger is now open at 16 Park Road, London, N8 8TD, open Monday – Sunday, 12 noon – 12am. Ready Burger is also set to open a second restaurant on Finchley Road later this summer with a third and fourth site already in the pipeline. With ambitious expansion plans to continue to open new venues across London and beyond, Ready Burger is on a mission to bring affordable, sustainable, plant-based options to more and more people across the country.
