Prince Harry’s Grand Prix trip dubbed ‘rank hypocrisy, Royal hypocrisy with Royal knobs on’

PRINCE Harry’s trip to the US Grand Prix is “rank hypocrisy” as it appeared to be at odds with his lecturing on environmental issues, according to Royal commentator Michael Cole.

He told GB News: “This is a classic case of ‘don’t do as I do, do as I say’…hypocrisy, rank hypocrisy, even Royal hypocrisy with Royal knobs on.

“It is hard to think of a less eco-friendly event than Formula One racing and then we have Prince Harry in the Mercedes garage taking great interest.

“…it gets worse, because having attended an eco-conference in New York, Harry and Meghan then took a private jet to St Vincent and the Grenadines to have a holiday.

“If you’re going to espouse these causes, and it’s perfectly right and proper that you should be able to do so, you’ve got to live by it, you know, ‘practice what you preach’ was the old saying.”

Speaking to Patrick Christys, he continued: “Perhaps they don’t even care, perhaps they don’t even care what we think of them anymore.

“Perhaps they’re beyond caring, because it does leave them open, wide open to the charge of hypocrisy and it’s really hard for them to refute it.

“I can’t understand it. I think what they say about the environment might be worth listening to, but I’m not listening.”

He added: “I’m not prepared to listen to somebody who doesn’t practice what they preach, but just tells us what we should do in our little lives while they do what they like, but at 24,000 feet in a private jet.”
