Robomagic Presents: Live At The Palace: Unveiling Brand New Concert Series in London

Live at The Palace, presented by Robomagic is a series of concerts across two weekends in May and July with an array of astounding musicians from across a plethora of genres, all taking place at the historic Fulham Palace which combines the convenience of a prime London location with the beauty of a stunning outdoor location that is fit to host the city’s newest musical series.

Independent promoter Robomagic have never been defined by genres, having worked with a multitude of artists, bringing live music to thousands, this brand-new series is an ode to their love of variety…

After a 6 year hiatus we are delighted to bring live music back to Fulham Palace with a diverse line up to appeal to all tastes. On the banks of the river in the heart of London Live at The Palace is set to become a staple of the London music scene for many years to come.

Live At The Palace will become the beating heart of the May Bank Holiday as two legendary commanders of the dance floor take over Fulham Palace for a dance music extravaganza. Ministry of Sound Classical, will take over the palace on Saturday 27th May, bringing with them some very special guests (TBA). This is no DJ set! MOS joined forces with some of the most talented players in classical music to create a Ministry of Sound take on what an orchestral performance can be. Complete with a 32-piece orchestra performing iconic dance classics, completely rearranged and reinterpreted for the 2020s that will have everyone on their feet. On Sunday 28th May, the titanic electronic duo Groove Armada will perform a DJ set with some very special friends (TBA). Their undeniable mega-hits including ‘Superstylin’ and ‘I See You Baby’ continue to be dancefloor favourites that never age.

Whetting your musical appetite even further will be a talent-fuelled series of concerts on the last weekend of July.

On Friday 28th July OMD, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, headline the first night of the July concerts at Live At the Palace. Pioneers of their genre with tracks such as ‘Electricity’ and ‘Enola Gay’ dancing shoes will be needed for their energetic hit-filled set. Electronic duo Ladytron will combine classic synth pop fundamentals of crystalline melodies in a set that includes their massive hits such as ‘Seventeen’ and ‘Destroy Everything You Touch’. Chart-topping electronic pop act Blancmange will venture into new sonic terrain with futuristic electronic sounds, and it will be an opportunity to see what Moby called ‘probably the most underrated electronic act of all time’. DJ Rusty Egan will bring his signature New Romantic spirit of his iconic ‘Blitz’ and ‘Camden Palace’ club nights to Fulham Palace this July.

Winner of 4 BRIT awards, recipient of an MBE for Services to Music and creator of Our Version of Events, one the biggest selling albums of 2012 and 2013 Emeli Sandé is a true icon of British music who will headline with special guests Live at the Palace’s Saturday 29th July show with her beautiful vocals and layered song-writing skills. Singer-song writer Sinéad Harnett will perform hits from her albums ‘Lessons in Love’ and ‘Ready is Always Too Late’. Experience who Gilles Peterson called ‘The Grace Jones of jazz’, the mesmerising Lady Blackbird, will perform hits from her critically acclaimed repertoire of soulful ballads and more vibrant and energetic tracks.

On Sunday 30th July legends of the reggae scene UB40 feat. Ali Campbell Ali and his incredible 9 piece band will headline Live At The Palace. With 4 Grammy nominations and selling 100 million records worldwide, their set featuring Ali Campbell will be one to remember. Aswad, one of Britain’s best loved reggae bands for the past 5 decades, will showcase their rich melodies over hard rhythm tracks, in their performance. Janet Kay, who reached the top of the British pop charts with her song ‘Silly Games’ and Carroll Thompson with her hit songs “I’m So Sorry” and “Silly Games” come together for a performance from Queens of Lovers Rock. Black Slate will bring a tidal wave of reggae force to the stage alongside leading light in the resurgence of British Dancehall Reggae Roast.
