Self-storage group win permission for third London site
Pegasus Group’s London office has secured planning permission from London Borough of Brent for redevelopment of the site at Queensbury Jet Wash Centre, Honeypot Lane for a new self-storage building, to be occupied by Attic Self-Storage.
The scheme will deliver up to 9,000sqm of storage floorspace in a building of c. 20m in height. The development makes efficient use of land that is currently or last occupied for employment or educational purposes, optimising use of this under-utilised prominent corner site.
Work is intended to commence on site in November 2019, with a store opening planned for September 2020. It will be Attic’s 3rd site in London adding to their existing self-storage centres in Bow and Kings Cross.
The planning permission was secured by Pegasus Group Chairman Jim Tarzey and Senior Planner, Katy Mourant.
Pegasus Group has more than 300 skilled and experienced staff operating from 14 offices throughout the UK and Ireland. The team offers extensive experience across all sectors of the development industry including planning, design, environment, economics and heritage.
