SHEDINBURGH AND FRANCESCA MOODY PRODUCTIONS TAKEOVER THE YOUNG VIC THEATRE

Today, new arts venue Shedinburgh celebrated its first-ever London Residency, bringing together critically acclaimed artists and creatives from the programme for a photocall at the Young Vic Theatre in Southwark ahead of its official launch on Saturday 19th September.
Guests featured from Shedinburgh’s programme included Kemah Bob, Inua Ellams, Nick Helm, Kirsty Mann, Shedinburgh producer Francesca Moody and the Young Vic’s Artistic Director Nadia Fall OBE.

The Olivier Award-winning producers behind Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, Francesca Moody Productions, will bring Shedinburgh to London for the first time with a three-week season presented in association with the Young Vic Theatre. Running from 19th September to 10th October 2026, the season will take over the Young Vic’s Maria Theatre.

Bringing together theatre, comedy, music, live art and new writing, the inaugural London season will feature more than 50 performances, including world renowned artists and critically acclaimed cult-hit revivals as they’ve never been seen before, in Shedinburgh’s intimate, bijoux, stripped-back setting.

Following its acclaimed 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe season, the purpose-built shed venue will be reconstructed inside the Maria Theatre for its London residency.
