The second Bistro Sablé is coming to Shoreditch this October

This October, Noble Inns will open its second Bistro Sablé in Shoreditch, taking over the first floor of The Princess of Shoreditch for a limited-time residency from 1 October until the end of the year.

The opening marks an exciting new chapter for The Princess of Shoreditch, with Bistro Sablé creating a 32-seat French bistro above the pub. Accessed via its own dedicated entrance and signature spiral staircase, the intimate restaurant will bring the Bistro Sablé experience to a new neighbourhood, with a menu rooted in traditional French cuisine and inspired by the timeless dining rooms and bistros of Paris.

The menu at Bistro Sablé will feature classics such as Rotisserie Chicken, Vin Jaune & Girolles and Cassoulet au Confit de Canard. Downstairs, the pub will offer a pared-back blackboard menu of Bistro Sablé-inspired dishes, ideal for lighter bites and more casual dining.

Upstairs, a newly reimagined dining room will feature oversized posters sourced from flea markets in Paris. Elegant Parisian-style lighting and understated wooden tables and chairs will create an atmosphere that feels timeless, intimate and unmistakably ‘Bistro’. Outside, a newly illuminated exterior sign will ensure Bistro Sablé Shoreditch always gets noticed.

The Bistro Sablé residency brings together the best of both experiences: the warmth and informality of a much-loved East London pub, alongside the classic cooking, atmosphere and hospitality of a French bistro. Whether visiting for a casual drink and a bite to eat or settling in for a full dinner, The Princess of Shoreditch will now offer the best of both worlds.
