SHEER CHEMISTRY’S BOLD CAMPAIGN LIGHTS UP LONDON AND BIRMINGHAM
Hosiery brand, Sheer Chemistry has been announced as one of the 2023 winners of the Clear Channel Compass competition, in partnership with Jamii. This has awarded Sheer Chemistry with £15,000 worth of outdoor advertising space and they are thrilled to have their vibrant campaign light up the streets of London and Birmingham.
Sheer Chemistry is a movement that’s redefining the hosiery industry, by providing tights that perfectly match all brown skin tones and is driven by a mission of championing inclusivity and representation in the world of fashion.
The campaign, encapsulated by the empowering messages “Let your true colour shine” and “Dare to stand out,” is a celebration of authenticity and individuality. Sheer Chemistry extends an invitation to all, to feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their own skin.
Tahlia Gray, the Sheer Chemistry Founder, beautifully sums it up: “To see Sheer Chemistry on a London Billboard is a dream come true. This campaign is all about embracing and celebrating yourself, as you are. As women of colour we should confidently take up space and not feel the need to shrink or contort ourselves in an effort to be accepted. Our campaign is an ode to self-love and authenticity.”
Sheer Chemistry’s journey has been one of passion and purpose. Over the past six years, Sheer Chemistry tirelessly worked towards revolutionising the hosiery industry, and according to Courtney Ismain, co-founder of Jamii, “Sheer Chemistry’s recognition in the Clear Channel Compass competition is a testament to their dedication of creating the change we want to see. As we stand on the cusp of this monumental campaign, we look forward to amplifying their message across the UK. Sheer Chemistry is headed towards a future where inclusivity and diversity continue to be at the forefront of fashion, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.”
