Skydiving instructors practice ninja skills mid-air in honour of crime-fighting turtles

The Bear Grylls Adventure has been shell-ebrating the return of the famous group of crime-fighting turtles with its iFLY instructors showing off their amazing mid-air combat skills in the attraction’s indoor skydiving wind tunnel.

Inspired by the exploits of the pizza-loving reptilian heroes Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, four experienced skydivers at the Birmingham adventure centre took to the air against the 162 miles per hour wind speed in action-ready superhero costumes.

Turtley awesome footage shows them flipping, spinning and flying upside-down in an amazing display of agile combat as they free-fell the equivalent of three 12,000 foot real-life sky dives.

Thrill-seekers are now being challenged to test their own skills in the iFLY and see if they can measure up to the turtles.

Lee Phillips, General Manager at The Bear Grylls Adventure, said: “Our very own iFLY turtles put on an impressive mid-air display and look ready to take on their own crime-fighting adventure.

“We were definitely shell-shocked by their amazing ninja skills, as they glided through the air and even ran around the perimeter of the wind tunnel while flying!

“We’d like to welcome anyone who thinks they have what it takes to rival a ninja turtle to come and test out their own skills at The Bear Grylls Adventure – you never know, you could be their next recruit!”
