According to a recent survey by UK holiday park and holiday home sales operator, Away Resorts, the South of England is the most desirable place to purchase a holiday home, with almost half, 46%, planning to buy here this year.

The recent survey also asked Brits, who had the cash to buy a UK holiday home, what type of property they plan on purchasing. 59% Dream of a Coastal Home

55% went onto say location is key and the majority (59%) opted for a coastal holiday home.

Some people prefer greenery and forest, countryside getaways in quiet and zen inspiring places. There are still plenty of holiday homes for sale near the Lake District for those who enjoy the difference.
