The classic menu includes coronation chicken, smoked ham, vintage cheddar & mustard, egg & cress and cucumber & cream cheese sandwiches, alongside sausage and leek and spiced chickpea pastries.

For sweets enjoy blueberry and plain scones with clotted cream and jam, followed by raspberry lemon drizzle cake, carrot crowns and chocolate fudge cake.

Each platter includes 16 sandwiches, 4 large pastries, 22 mini cakes and 8 scones along with clotted cream, jam and tea. Saicho added via the website.

The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane has partnered with Louis Pommery England to present the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea, available from May 25th. Priced at £49, the menu features a special selection of British scones, pastries and savoury treats.

Finely crafted by our pastry team and inspired by British heritage, the menu includes a Battenberg, a Royal Apricot Mandarin Chocolate Cake, a Queen’s Hat and Victoria Sponge.

The menu also includes freshly baked plain and golden raisin scones served with homemade selection of seasonal preserves and clotted cream. The savoury offering for the Afternoon Tea is refined to deliver a simple nostalgic addition to the menu, and features a selection of sandwiches including coronation chicken, free range egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon and truffled cream cheese.
