Support the charities of Hammersmith and Fulham at Livat’s Small Charity Showcase
To celebrate Small Charity Week, Livat Hammersmith will host a small charity showcase on 21st June, inviting charitable organisations from across the Hammersmith and Fulham borough to connect with the local community and promote their causes.
Small Charity Week (19 – 23 June) aims to support and raise awareness of the thousands of small charities that make a massive difference to people across the UK.
The Livat Hammersmith Small Charity Showcase will allow the small charities of Hammersmith and Fulham to engage with their local community and build awareness around the brilliant work each one of them is doing. Charities confirmed include Hammersmith Community Garden Association, Sobus, Age UK, Macular Society, Crosslight, Young Hammersmith and Fulham Foundation and The Barons Court Project.
After the event, Livat will host a networking event for the charities that presented during the day. Charity heads and members of the senior leadership team at Livat Hammersmith will discuss future projects and ways Livat can support each charity’s mission.
Natalia Petelina, Meeting Place Manager at Livat Hammersmith, comments “ Charities are really struggling as the reality of the cost of living crisis hits households ability to support not-for-profits. It’s crucial businesses step up and find ways to support them. At Livat Hammersmith, we’re dedicated to putting the local community first and are always finding ways for businesses, residents and not-for-profit organisations to connect and support each other. The Small Charity Showcase is another example of how we’re facilitating these connections and uniting the local community.”
Since opening its doors last year, Livat has become a local community pillar, with regular events designed to inspire and support the many people of Hammersmith and Fulham to live healthier, more sustainable lives.
