City workers are in for a treat this September, as The Alice opens its doors in Houndsditch on Thursday, 5^th September following an investment of over £500,000.

A stone’s throw from both Aldgate and Liverpool Street, the site has been transformed, with a revamped interior, a brand-new food menu and an extended craft ale and cocktail selection.

Fully refurbished throughout, The Alice now boasts a Gin Masterclass station, perfect for work nights out and group events. Beer lovers are also in for a treat as The Alice will have two very special tables with built in taps, ideal to be enjoyed by a private party with colleagues, friends or family. The team are also pulling out all the stops to entertain customers with a brand-new Corporate Quiz taking place every week and Acoustic nights scheduled every weekend.

The new food menu is loaded with hand-stretched sourdough pizzas, juicy burgers, small plates and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options; all complete with a lunch deal that will have guests coming back every day of the working week.

The pub’s drink selection has been enhanced, with three new Tanks serving Meantime’s Brewery Fresh. Cocktail lovers can also enjoy a tipple from the wide selection, including everybody’s favourite Pornstar or Espresso Martinis, Mojitos, Brambles and Singapore Slings.
