The Mall Wood Green is inviting shoppers to give in to temptation and release their inner child by diving in to a giant ball pit on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November.

Located on the ground floor of The Mall, near New Look, the giant ball pit, which will be open from 11am-4am on both days, will be filled with 50,000 brightly coloured balls and encased in a giant inflatable dome.

With an insta-worthy backdrop, the ball pit provides the perfect photo opportunity for those looking to fill their social media feeds with lighthearted shots. Those that tag The Mall will also appear on its Instagram and Facebook pages.

Ideal for relieving stress after a busy week at work, burning off those extra calories or simply for having fun, the ball pit is also there to raise money for The Mall’s charity partner, the Godwin Lawson Foundation.

By encouraging fun-seeking shoppers to make a suggested donation of £1 per person, the shopping centre is hoping to smash its charity targets for the year and help raise the profile of the hardworking local charity. Based in North London, the Godwin Lawson Foundation supports youngsters across the city and fights constantly to reduce gun and knife crime.

And it’s not just for big kids, children are very welcome too.

“As adults, I think we sometimes forget how to be a little bit silly and have fun and we really want people to lose their inhibitions, embrace their inner child and enjoy themselves, said Gwendolyne Lobo, Marketing Manager for The Mall Wood Green. “It’s also a really great opportunity to do something different and raise much-needed funds for our charity of the year, so come along and dive in!”
