Upside Down House re-opens and announces new houses in Scotland & Milton Keynes

The Upside Down House UK is delighted to announce that its four houses, situated in Brighton, Essex, Manchester and Bristol, will re-open to the public on Saturday 4th July 2020. Not only that but two further houses will be coming soon to Scotland and Milton Keynes, with opening dates to be announced in due course.

Th Upside Down House is a hybrid of street art and experiential entertainment. The eye-catching inverted brightly coloured wooden structures are hard to miss and provide visitors with a zero-gravity illusion experience in a safe and family friendly environment.

Each house is arranged over two storeys complete with fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, living room art and bedroom. Visitors are invited to walk on the ceiling and lose themselves going downstairs to go up and letting their imagination run riot as they capture photos with a difference!

As the seasons change, so does the Upside Down House. An in-house interior designer, ensures visitors get the most diverse and realistic experience during the year, transforming it from a scary haunted house for Halloween to a snowy and festive abode at Christmas time, complete with inverted reindeers and colourful lights.

The safety and enjoyment of guests is of paramount importance and so new measures have been introduced in accordance with Government advice:

– It is strongly recommended that all guests wear a face mask when entering the house, and disposable masks will be provided to those that require them.

– Guests will be invited to use anti-bacterial hand gel from one of the dispensers as a requirement for entry and exit.

– Numbers will be limited to 12 people in the house at any one time and a team member will be in place to ensure social distancing is adhered to.

– It is strongly recommended that guests use card payment only, and where possible book in advance online via the Upside Down House website: www.upsidedownhouse.co.uk

– Each house will continue to be thoroughly deep cleaned on a daily basis.

– In order to maintain a safe social distance, the Upside Down House team will be offering verbal guidance on how to capture the best pictures, but will be unable to support guests by handling their phones or cameras. It is therefore strongly advised that guests visit with a member of their own household or bubble who can take pictures for them.

Tom Dirse, CEO of Upside Down House UK, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming back guests to the Upside Down House and are thrilled to be able to announce two new locations. It’s great to be able to share some positive news and to bring some much-needed fun to even more places. We’re far from being done yet and have many more locations in mind to fulfil our goal of getting the whole of the UK flipped Upside Down!”
