Valentine’s Day: The London EDITION Partners with Her Hustle with a Love Letter to Female Friendship

This Valentine’s Day, The London EDITION has teamed up with Her Hustle to host an event devoted to female friendship on Monday 14th February from 6-8pm in the hotel’s intimate Punch Room.

Female friendships are the greatest romances of our lives, according to Phoebe Waller-Bridge. And yet, as Valentine’s Day comes around, we are reminded once again of the primacy placed on romantic relationships as the only relationships really worth celebrating. Her Hustle would like to change that.

In celebration of female friendship and the written word, Emma-Louise Boynton, presenter and Her Hustle co-founder, has launched a call-out for women in the Her Hustle community and beyond to pen a love letter to their greatest female friend. Women will be able to attend the event with their own best friends, as an alternative date night this Valentine’s Day.

Emma-Louise will host a live letters event on Valentine’s Day in The London EDITION’s intimate and cosy Punch Room, where she will be joined by a selection of brilliant women, including Mother Pukka, Kate Hamilton and Emily Ames, founders of Sonder & Tell and Feed Me Female founders Chloe O’Connell and Hope Flynn, who will read extracts from their own letters, as well as reciting letters exchanged between historical female figures whose words to one another have for too long gone unacknowledged.

Guests will be able to enjoy a welcome cocktail as part of the date night for female friends – redefining what a romantic Valentine’s Day evening looks and feels like. At the end of the session, all attendees will be invited to put pen to paper in ode to their greatest female-friend romance.
