Staff at Wimbledon Beaumont in Wimbledon were delighted when second Chef, Neil completed his training and graduated from the Chef Academy.

Neil was surprised with a celebration in the home to mark his achievement.

The Chef Academy runs throughout the year in order to further develop talented chefs and enable them to produce nutritious and delicious meals for residents.

Khushkaran, General Manager at Wimbledon Beaumont, said: “Neil is an integral member of the team who excels at what he does. I’m delighted that he has completed the training and graduated. He has worked so hard and I’m very proud of him.”

Neil said: “I really enjoyed learning lots of new skills and building on the knowledge I have gathered during my years working at the home. I look forward to growing further within this role and continuing to support the people we care for.”

Wimbledon Beaumont care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals. Wimbledon Beaumont provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 46 residents from respite care to long term stays.
