Thursday 04 July at The Lower Third London

Rapidly rising London-born vocalist Jarki Monno muses on his latest project, ‘Mother Told Me These Things Happen’ – “People come and go in your life. Friends that have been there from day one might not be there now, but at the same time people that were never part of your life back then are a crucial part of it now.” That realisation and the maturity that comes with it launches the next chapter for Jarki, brimming with the powerful introspection that has already turned heads by the likes of seminal tastemakers Jo Whiley and Phil Taggert – the latter describing him as the rightful heir to Loyle Carner’s throne, much to Jarki’s delight.

John Callum ‘JC’ Stewart has packed a lot into his 27 years. A self-released single when he was 18. A record deal with Warner Music, signed after an old-fashioned bidding war, when he was 21. A Number One single in the Czech Republic in the teeth of lockdown, underpinned by gold-selling success in Eastern and Northern Europe. Writing partnerships with the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan and Tom Odell. A truly viral moment with his parodic cover of Friends theme ‘I’ll Be There For You’, which went from TikTok to ABC News to an American media storm after Jennifer Aniston reposted it. JC Stewarts trajectory continues upwards with his new record label Stanley Park.

With over 60 million streams globally, Manchester-based singer-songwriter Lusaint’s distinctive music has captured hearts since her 2019 breakthrough with its melodic blend of soul, jazz and blues influences. The songstress has come a long way since her breakthrough in 2019, a year in which she broke the daily record for most Shazams in 24 hours. Since then her success has led to collaborations with glamorous brands including Chanel, Dior, Alighieri Jewellery; and a London Fashion Week appearance. Building even more anticipation for her upcoming debut EP self-sabotage, ‘Sober’ is another sparkling example of the show-stopping vocals and spotlight-stealing songcraft of Lusaint.
