PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION “PHOTOLOGY 2024” FEATURING ALEXANDRU RADU POPESCU’S “UNIC” PROJECT TO BE DISPLAYED AT THE MORLEY GALLERY

The Morley Gallery in Waterloo is set to host “PHOTOLOGY 2024,” an exciting photography exhibition showcasing the works of renowned London-based photographer Alexandru Radu Popescu. The exhibition will be open to the public from the 3rd to the 6th of July, 2024, with free admission for all visitors.

Popescu will present his latest project, “UNIC,” which offers an intimate look at the Paralympic canoe team as they prepare for the upcoming Paris Paralympic Games. This powerful and inspiring collection captures the dedication, resilience, and spirit of the athletes, highlighting their journey in a unique and compelling way.

The “UNIC” project features the following distinguished athletes:

Emma Wiggs – 12x World Champion
Laura Sugar – 3x World Champion
Hope Gordon – 1x World Champion
Charlotte Henshaw – 10x World Champion
The exhibition will feature both digital and analogue prints, all of which will be available for purchase. Attendees will have the opportunity to own a piece of this remarkable series, which blends technical prowess with profound storytelling.

A private view of the exhibition will be held on the 3rd of July from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, providing an exclusive preview and a chance to meet the artist.
