Launching online on 30 September 2026, Sheth London is the debut womenswear label from designer Dimple Sheth, created between London and Gujarat with a multi-generational artisan family.
At a time when fashion is moving faster than ever, Sheth London arrives with a different rhythm.
The new independent womenswear label is built around pieces that cannot be rushed: handwoven silks, intricate beadwork, small-batch production and craft techniques passed through generations.
Founded by 26-year-old designer Dimple Sheth, Sheth London is shaped by the two places that have shaped her – India, where she was born and first fell in love with textiles and colour, and London, where she trained and found her voice as a designer. The result is a joyful meeting of worlds- Gujarati Patola and Tangaliya handweaving, intricate beadwork and generations of craft knowledge are brought into a contemporary wardrobe through Dimple’s eye for pattern cutting, proportion and silhouette.
Dimple Sheth, Founder & Brand Director, SHETH LONDON, says-
“I founded SHETH LONDON to bring together two worlds, India and London, that have shaped me. At the heart of the brand are our artisans – their hands, knowledge and creativity make every piece possible. For me, it is about carrying that knowledge forward while creating something relevant to how we dress today.”
The debut collection launches direct-to-consumer, with seven ready-to-wear styles and 19 accessories. Produced in highly limited quantities, generally no more than 30 pieces per style, each garment reflects the pace and precision of the hand.
The collection’s hero piece, Poppy, is inspired by an approximately 100-year-old beaded textile passed down through Dimple’s grandmother. Reimagined as a waistcoat, each piece is hand-beaded with approximately one kilogram of ceramic beads and takes 20 to 25 days to complete. Only 10 will be made.
Launching online on 30 September, the debut comprises seven ready-to-wear styles from £350–£650 and 19 accessory designs from £75.
The collection is set to drop online and at a pop-up in October, giving everyone a chance to interact with the extraordinary handcraft behind the clothes.
The craft behind the collection
The beauty of SHETH LONDON is in the detail, from pieces named Saffron, Chia, Sage, Chilli, Bay, Cayenne and Poppy after the herbs and spices of Dimple’s upbringing, to textiles that can take days to weave by hand.
The Saffron Dress, Cayenne Parka and Chilli Tie Blouse use single-ikat Patola in Indian Mulberry silk. Remarkably, the pattern is created before the fabric exists – silk yarn is bound and resist-dyed with the design, then carefully aligned by two artisans as it is woven, revealing the motif in the finished cloth. Only around two metres can be woven in a day.
Tangaliya creates pattern as the cloth is woven. Used across the Bay Jacket, Chia Dress and Sage Blouse, tiny raised motifs are twisted into cotton by hand, with approximately 1.5 metres woven each day.
Then there is Poppy, the collection’s hero piece. Inspired by an approximately 100-year-old beaded piece passed down through Dimple’s grandmother, its peacock and tree motifs are reimagined using approximately one kilogram of ceramic beads, individually placed by hand. A single waistcoat takes 20–25 days to bead, and only 10 will be made.
Across SHETH LONDON, styles are produced in quantities of generally no more than 30, with no planned restocks. When craft takes this much time, it naturally sets the pace of the production- slow fashion at its finest.
