EuroEyes Expands its UK Footprint with Grand Opening of Laser Eye Clinic (LEC) London in Knightsbridge

Today, after an impressive construction period spanning over a year, EuroEyes International Eye Group (EuroEyes) proudly opens its doors to its second cutting-edge eye clinic in London, Laser Eye Clinic (LEC) London.

Located in the heart of Knightsbridge at 163-169 Brompton Road, and adjacent to the world-renowned Harrods, LEC London stands as a beacon of excellence, catering to discerning individuals seeking unrivalled treatments for Myopia (Short-sightedness), Presbyopia, Cataracts, and eye care.

A proud member of the EuroEyes International Eye Group (EE), LEC London will join a renowned network of flagship clinics in Berlin, Beijing, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.

The new clinic has been designed to perform as a luxury, state-of-the-art treatment destination, employing the newest Carl ZEISS Germany* technologies and offering personalised treatments for those living with impaired vision, enabling them to live a life without glasses and/or contact lenses.

World-leading ophthalmologist and EuroEyes Founder, Dr Jørn Slot Jørgensen will be at the helm of the clinic launch, supported by a team of international doctors and surgeons including renowned specialists Dr. Göran G. Helgason and Dr. Fadi Kherdaji. Their competence and dedication to delivering exceptional care have been channelled into creating a state-of-the-art clinic offering an epitome of excellence in eye care.

Following the success of their acquisition of London Vision Clinic (LVC) on Harley Street last year, under the medical leadership of one of the world’s leading laser surgeons Professor Dan Reinstein, the launch of LEC London has further solidified its position as a leader in the field of eye care in the UK. The partnership with London Vision Clinic has merged two internationally acclaimed eye clinic groups, combining their wealth of knowledge and experience in laser and lens surgery. And with the much-anticipated opening of LEC London on Brompton Road, EuroEyes takes pride in expanding its services across two prime locations in the city.

Dr Jørn Slot Jørgensen, Founder, Chairman, Executive Director, and CEO of the EuroEyes Clinic Group says: “We’re incredibly proud to be opening our very first clinic in the UK, on one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in the city. The clinic is truly state-of-the-art, offering the very best in lens and laser correction technology, and centred around exceptional patient care.

The launch of LEC London is also an exciting milestone for EuroEyes International Eye Group and demonstrates our commitment to changing the lives of those living with debilitating and problematic vision worldwide. We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming our first UK patients come July.”

Last year, EuroEyes was honored with the prestigious “hat trick goal” award, securing the titles for the most implanted Trifocal lenses (Zeiss) worldwide in the treatment of presbyopia, the most ICL implantations in Germany for the treatment of Myopia, and the most ReLEx smile laser eye operations in Europe.

LEC London will be open to new patients suffering especially from myopia, high myopia and presbyopia or cataract from August 2023, and consultation enquires can be made on the website here, or by emailing info@lec-london.uk.
