Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has been instructed to market the lease for the Rabbit’s Hole, a speakeasy cocktail bar located in Clerkenwell, London.
The Rabbit’s Hole is a quirky bar offering a distinctive, immersive drinking experience in a characterful basement setting. The venue is set in an underground space with a bar area and lounge seating, suitable for private events, birthdays, office parties and group occasions, with capacity of up to 35 seated and 50 standing.
Located within the heart of Clerkenwell, Central London, the venue benefits from strong connectivity and proximity to local attractions including Smithfield Market, Exmouth Market, Clerkenwell Green, and a dense mix of offices, restaurants, cafés and leisure venues.
The business specialises in handcrafted cocktails, with a signature menu of over 100 cocktail recipes, supporting its appeal as a specialist destination cocktail venue.
Current lease owner, Ajay Kasli, has operated from the premises for around 20 years but has decided to sell in order to move abroad.
Ajay said, “This is a very reluctant sale due to a family decision to relocate overseas. We genuinely believe the business still has incredible growth potential, which makes this a particularly difficult decision.”
David Wilson, Associate Director – Pubs & Restaurants at Christie & Co, who is managing the sale process, comments, “The Rabbit’s Hole represents a rare opportunity to secure a lease assignment of a distinctive speakeasy cocktail bar in the heart of Clerkenwell.
“The premises provides an attractive platform for an experienced or aspiring operator to build upon an established cocktail bar concept and capitalise on a prominent position within one of central London’s most desirable hospitality locations.”
The Rabbit’s Hole is on the market with a leasehold asking price of £200,000.
