London Sculpture Week returns 20–28 Sept: free tattoos, artist-led walks & new sculpture unveiled

London Sculpture Week returns for its fourth edition from 20 to 28 September 2025, with a programme of free and ticketed events across the city celebrating contemporary sculpture in public spaces. London Sculpture Week is the only citywide initiative in London dedicated to celebrating public sculpture, bringing together five major public art initiatives: Sculpture in the City, Frieze Sculpture, the Fourth Plinth, East Bank, and The Line.

A full programme will be announced in early September, but we’re excited to share a few early highlights:

A tour of The Line’s exhibition
Madge Gill: Nature in Mind
with curator Sophie Dutton, including a
rare viewing of original works by Gill from Newham Council’s archive.
The tour connects the artist’s legacy to East London and forms part of the public programme for the exhibition
Grayson Perry: Delusions of Grandeur
at The Wallace Collection.
The unveiling of a
new sculpture by artist Rasheed Araeen
, one of Britain’s leading minimalist sculptors, on The Line at Bromley- by-Bow.
A guided tour of Sculpture in the City’s 14th edition exploring art and the canvas, led by Director of Velorose Gallery David Rosenberg and concluding with Seven Doors Tattoo offering
free permanent tattoos
inspired by artworks in the exhibition.
The Sculpture Switch, a collaborative exchange between Frieze Sculpture and Sculpture in the City
artists Lucía Pizzani and Vanessa da Silva.

Artists, sculptors, creatives and sculpture enthusiasts will also have a unique opportunity to attend a free symposium at the Warburg Institute.
