More than 180 London food trucks come together for London Loaded Month

Over 180 London food vendors are coming together for a month-long city wide food festival in a bid to help young Londoners with the cost of eating out in the capital.

Loaded Month runs from 23rd May to June 28th London foodies will be able to visit one of over 180 street food vendors and get a meal for just a fiver.

The new initiative by Doritos will see renowned London street vendors Hide & Greek, Filli Grillz, Spud Bros Express, Bun & Sum and The Mac Factory come together to offer affordable eating for young Londoners.

London has become a haven for street food in the last couple of years but average lunch costs in the capital are soaring past the £10 mark, making it difficult for young Londoners to be able to afford the cost of buying a meal and even harder for the hospitality industry to attract customers.

Many of the vendors involved were present at a launch event at Leicester Square’s Market Place Food Hall where the likes of Hide & Greek and Frilli Grillz will be based for the month.
