‘We’re good at this stuff!’ – Tice defends Reform walk out during PMQs

REFORM UK Deputy Leader Richard Tice has not ruled out more stunts after Reform’s eight MPs walked out of Prime Minister’s Questions.

Speaking on GB News Tice said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic, because the media have been talking about it ever since. We’ve highlighted the fact that this prime minister refuses to ask the critical questions of most concern to tens of millions of British citizens.

“The government has failed to stop the boats, they haven’t smashed the gangs, they’ve encouraged the gangs. And quite rightly, Nigel asked the Prime Minister, What’s Plan B, having failed with Plan A?

“And the Prime Minister is so hopeless in anything that he organises that he doesn’t answer any questions anymore. He didn’t answer Nigel’s question last week. He hasn’t answered it this week, he doesn’t answer the Leader of the Opposition.

“So you end up with sort of saying, What’s the point of it? I mean, the clue’s in the name, it’s Prime Minister’s Questions.

“If he’s not going to answer any, then, frankly, we want to make a clear demonstration to people, enough’s enough. We’re sick of it. The British people are sick of it. They want an answer on the small boats crisis.

“Of course snooker is critical to Sheffield. We all love those wonderful world championships. I’m going to say our protest was against the Prime Minister. She knows that the whole country now knows that that’s the right thing to do, and the prime minister just needs to start answering some questions.

“We’re good at this stuff and I think that’s one of the reasons that people actually, they appreciate a personality. Real people with real answers to the massive crises and challenges the country’s got.

“It wasn’t planned. I mean, we’re just furious at the prime minister for failing to answer one of the most important questions for millions of British citizens.”
