Award Winning Comedians, Mary Bourke and Ian Stone Launch Brand New West End Monthly Comedy Club

Red Imp Comedy Club has announced a partnership with famous Soho private members club, The Union for a brand new West-end monthly comedy club.

Comic stars, Mary Bourke, Ian Stone and Susan Murray launch the opening night of the Union Sessions: Red Imp Comedy Club on Thursday 23rd May 2019.

The legendary Union Club whose haloed rooms have seen the likes of Grayson Perry to Terry Jones relishing a drink or two over the years, will be offering a special pre-show dinner menu that can be enjoyed in their secluded roof terrace.

Award winning Irish comic and playwright Mary Bourke has been described by GQ as  “one of the best female acts in the country” and ‘‘savage and lyrical” by The New Statesman will be headlining the show.

Much loved writer, broadcaster and Comedy Store regular, Ian Stone takes time out from presenting the Comedy Breakfast show on Love Sport Radio to enthral The Union audience with the finest topical and satirical gags. Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent and a multi award winning radio show on Absolute Radio, Ian has found time to write his first book, ’To Be Someone’ which is due to be published in November 2019.

Red Imp Comedy’s head honcho, Susan Murray will bring her blistering wit and wisdom throughout the night as she compares the proceeding.  Noted as a “Feisty fire-headed pocket rocket “Broadway Baby and  “Has the ability to make quirky connections allows her to build a compelling believable and richly funny picture of 21st century womanhood- anyone who loves the work of Sarah Millican and Kerry Godliman will find plenty to enjoy here” The Guardian.
